Rocker Angry Anderson says not only is he keen to stand for the National Party in the  seat of  Gilmore at the next Federal election, but believes he has an excellent chance of winning, if he gains pre-selection.

The former front man of Rose Tattoo says he has had a long involvement with the area, including a recent association with the Dunn and Lewis Foundation at Ulladulla.

The Nationals are yet to decide if they will contest Gilmore, and the Goulburn seat of Hume, whose sitting MP's have announced plans for retirement from Federal politics

Angry says over the years his political views have turned full circle and he would be happy to stand in Gilmore as a National or Liberal party MP.
