A North Nowra man who has set up a Facebook internet page dedicated to historical photos of the Shoalhaven over the last 100 years  says he is stunned at the reaction to the site.

Shoalhaven in The 20th Century has been developed by Adrian Morgan, has collected 15 hundred " likes " from followers and at times has had as many as a thousand visitors a day.

Two and a half thousands photos of the Shoalhaven mainly from the 50's to the 90's have been posted, along with half a dozen old home movies which have been converted to digital format.

A descendent of one of the Shoalhaven's first white settlers Mr Morgan says he would like to borrow any old photos and films and videos people have so they can be added to the site
