Expressions of interest have been called for the purchase of a huge parcel of commercial land at Bomaderry, which was the site of a huge fire last year.

The land on the Princes Highway and Cambewarra Road  at Bomaderry was once the factory for the John Bull Rubber Group, also the scene of a fire many years previous.

The remains were  later converted into industrial units, housing various organisations including a transport company and paint store.

The site covers almost 25,000 square metres and also includes parcels leased to a nursery and the recently constructed K.F.C.

There is an active  approval on the site for a major warehouse development.
