Nowra Student Takes Work Experience To New Level

kade o'rourke A Year 9 student from Nowra High School has returned home after undertaking  work experience in one of the most remote places in Australia.

 

 

 

wingellina community Kade O'Rourke wants to become a documentary film maker and has undertaken his work experience at Wingellina in the Western Deserts, near where the borders of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory meet.

 

western desert Just getting there was an experience in itself, a flight to Uluru, then a four hour drive through the desert to Wingellina.

 

 

 

western desert people Kade joined an indigeneous  crew  from NG Media making a documentary about people who used to live at the Warburton Mission, which is about half way between Alice Springs and Kalgoorlie in  Western Australia.
