Two Injured In Shoalhaven Crash
Monday, 02 July 2012 00:07

Two Injured In Shoalhaven Crash Two people are recovering after their car ploughed into a pole at Sanctuary Point over the weekend.

The crash happened just after 7 on Saturday night  in Mustang Drive at Sanctuary Point.

Police say a 21 year old woman driving a Commodore sedan lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the road and into the pole.

The driver and passenger were both injured, and after being treated by paramedics, were taken  to Shoalhaven Hospital, where they were reported to be in a stable condition.

Endeavour Energy crews have to be called in to re-tension power lines, which had drooped to within about 2 metres of the roadway.

Meantime the Princes Highway has been re-opened after being closed to traffic yesterday afternoon.

A car and a truck collided near Egans Farm at Yatte Yattah, north of Milton, effecting traffic flow in both directions.
