Berry Bypass Southern Option Ruled Out by Roads Minister

The Princes Highway bypass of Berry will run to the north after an independent review of the suggested southern bypass route found it will cost $100 million more to construct.

Roads Minister, Duncan Gay announced this afternoon that he had chosen the northern bypass option, ending years of uncertainty for the residents of Berry.

Kiama MP Gareth Ward has welcomed the decision and says a full environmental assessment will now be conducted.
