Teachers To Strike For 24 Hours On Wednesday

teachers federation Public school teachers on the south coast and southern highlands are proceeding with plans for a 24 hour strike on Wednesday.

Teachers  say a charter itemising a number of concerns regarding staffing, funding and class sizes has not been addressed by the Education Minister ADRIAN PICCOLI.

Regional Organiser WAYNE DONOVAN says in cases where all teachers  decide to take strike action, schools will have to be closed.
