Boating Banned On Bomaderry Creek

bomaderry creek Boating is banned on Bomaderry Creek for the next six weeks.

The ban came into force this morning,  and applies to the end of July.

Contractors working for Railcorp are removing the old railway bridge over the creek.

Built almost 120 years ago, the bridge once formed part of an extension of the Bomaderry Railway Station shunting yards.

Boating Banned On Bomaderry Creek The northern section of the bridge has a severe lean on it, while a portion on the southern side has partially collapsed.

The boating ban applies from the junction of Bomaderry Creek and the Shoalhaven River, upstream past the Shoalhaven River bridges
