W ork will continue this week in recovering the remainder of the remainder of the boats washed ashore in Jervis Bay as a result of last week's wild storms

The first of the dozen or so  boats and yachts washed ashore at Callala were recovered on Friday, with the help of a crane, excavator and a low loader.

Insurance assessor Michael Lieberman from I.M.S.Loss Adjusters says the operation was easier than he first thought it might be , although there were a couple of anxious moments.

Peter Adams who owns the large Sea Wind Catamaran which was recovered, says he is looking forward to getting back on the water, although that may not be until summer
