Two Arrested Over Armed Robberies

 

Police have arrested and charged two men following a number of armed robberies on the south coast.

 

Last night two men, both armed with knives, allegedly entered a chemist in Dapto.

They demanded money and drugs.

 

The manager handed over an amount of cash and medication, before the men stole the mangers's car

 

Police  later went to Osborne Street in Dapto where they arrested a 23-year-old man.

 

A 21-year-old man was later arrested at a home on Culgoa Crescent in Koonawarra.

 

As well as the robbery Iin Dapto, police allege the men were involved in armed robberies in Berkeley and

Corrimal.

 

Both men were refused bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court today.
