A new campaign has been launched  targeting asthma on the coast and highlands .. and in particular, the symptoms that are frequently misdiagnosed. 

Professor SANDRA JONES, from the University of Wollongong, says many adults, aged 55 and over, fail to realise that symptoms such as coughing or wheezing, could be a sign of asthma.

Almost 10% of mature aged residents in the Shoalhaven and Wingecarribee  have asthma, but there are things they can do, to improve their quality of life.
