It was a great day at McKinnon Oval in Aberdeen today for the school holidays Kids to Kangaroos (K2K) rugby league clinic. Heaps of local boys and girls turned out for the clinic which was hosted by the Newcastle Knights. Former Aberdeen Tigers’ junior Alex McKinnon was back on his home turf alongside many other Knights players who were happily helping out with the clinics despite the wet weather. The Knights were also giving away tickets to their next home game this weekend at Hunter Stadium against the Bulldogs.
