After a couple of years of being a kids TV presenter hosting ABC TV’s ‘Couch Potato’ and several years living the wayward life of a rock chick as the guitarist and lead singer of Adelaide band ‘Honeyfix’ - it’s no wonder my parents urged me to ‘get a real job’.

Well I guess being a radio announcer counts doesn’t it? Mum. . .Dad? To be honest there are days when I’ve gotta pinch myself and hope I don’t wake up, because for someone who’s obsessed by music (especially Aussie artists) and loves a good chat, I figure I’m in my dream job.

You’ll find me behind the mic weekdays from 2 – 6pm including for drive time on The Home Run, plus join me twice a week for Aussie Rules (Thursday night from 10 –12 and Sunday nights from 6 – 7). Aussie Rules is packed full of great Australian music including interviews with local acts and some of the best up and coming talent from right around Australia.

When I have a little spare time I love cooking gourmet feasts for friends, discovering yummy delights at local farmers markets or cellar doors, growing my own vegies, riding my bike through beautiful Ballarat, writing music and playing the guitar. . .oh and my favourite saying is still “is he single?”. Hmmm
